Contaminated Without Consent is an informative video created by the Chemical Safety Workgroup that can be used as a tool to educate consumers in the United States on the growing hazard of toxins in our environment, where to find them in the products we use everyday, and the ways we can hopefully put an end to this threat. While some European countries are taking the steps to educate the public on the levels of toxins in their products and passing laws to limit or eliminate contaminants, the United States and corporations within our country have done little to inform the public on the often fatal effects of the toxins that exist in the products we consume. The video also discusses the concept of Green Chemistry, a healthier way to move forward technologically without harming our families or our jobs.
